Kiambu Governor, Ferdinand Waititu, on Thursday exposed Interior Cabinet Secretary, Dr Fred Matiang’i, and Nominated MP, Maina Kamanda, as some of his greatest political enemies.
In a video which has been making rounds on social media, Waititu is seen ‘confronting’ Kamanda in the presence of the Deputy President William Ruto claiming that he had been giving him a hard time.
Babayao goes ahead to hilariously claim “he is a man of God” which is why he cannot retaliate the enmity, leaving Ruto in stitches.
“Wale watu wananilemea ni huyu (pointing at Kamanda) na Matiang’i. Kwa sababu Matiang’i na Nyoro walienda shule pamoja na nyinyi. Lakini mimi ni mtu wa mungu (The people who have been bothering me is Kamanda and Matiang’i. Matiang’i and Nyoro went to the same school and have a history),” Waititu was heard saying.

Kamanda has been pushing Waititu to resign over graft allegations facing him. The governor, his wife Susan Ndung’u and other county staff have been accused of irregularly awarding tenders amounting to Sh580 million.
However, the governor, who has been barred from accessing his office, is on record accusing Kamanda of being very corrupt and accusing him of being behind several problems facing Nairobi residents.
Moreover,during a past Sunday Service, the embattled governor claimed that some individuals within President Uhuru Kenyatta’s circle are behind all the pressure he is facing.
“There are people close to President Uhuru Kenyatta who are behind all this pressure I’m facing.
“They think that as long as Uhuru is in power, they can continue to intimidate us,” he spoke.
