As it has been widely reported Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Victor Wanyama is on his way out of the club. The Harambee Stars Captain is headed to Belgian side Club Brugge with a deal between the two clubs expected to be finalized in the next few days.
The Defensive midfielder joined Spurs from fellow Premier League side Southampton in 2016 and went on to feature 93 times for Mauricio Pochettino’s side scoring 7 goals in the process.
He quickly established himself as a fan favorite with his wholehearted displays in the center of the park and scored the winner on his official debut for the North Londoners.
Injuries, however, hampered his playtime and spent most of last season recovering from a niggling knee injury. Tottenham Hotspur fans were quick to wish him well ahead of his imminent departure.
Always in their hearts..
wanyama is always in my heart for that time against city when he forgot how to kick a ball and just launched it into the stands

Actually genuinely gutted that it's seemingly the beginning of the end of Wanyama's time at Spurs. At one point he one one of the first names on the team sheet but injuries have
just ravaged him. Shame.Good luck Big Vic#COYS pic.twitter.com/FGCWu5qfzN

Wanyama being sold is quite sad when you remember how important he was for us a few years ago before his injuries. The streets will never forget the Dembele-Wanyama partnership in 16/17. pic.twitter.com/bLQ14Nj3oa

Wanyama being sold. I must admit I’m gutted. He was my ‘essential ingredient’ Incredible spell he had those first few years at Spurs before injuries took their toll on him. We’ve still not found another DM as good as him. Wish him nothing but the best for the future.
