Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku set social media ablaze after his scathing attack on ex-Manchester United teammates but defending Paul Pogba and Alexis Sanchez.

The 26-year-old left United this summer for a new challenge in Italy after facing a torrid time with the English club. He was signed on a 5-year deal for a club-record €65 million, which may rise to €75 million due to additional fees.

Lukaku was brought to United by Jose Mourinho on 10 July 2017 from Everton but did not get enough time when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over. But he constantly fell victim of reproval in the few matches he played.

Pogba and Sanchez were also subjected to the same treatment and the Belgian believes they were unfairly blamed for the club’s meagre performance.

“I put my hand up, I don’t think I was the only playing bad – a lot of people were,’ he said in a Podcast. ‘They have to find a culprit. If they want to put the blame on me, f*** it. I know what I’ve been through and this is just soccer.

“They have to find somebody,’ he continued. ‘It is [Paul] Pogba or me or Alexis [Sanchez] – it’s the three of us all the time,” he continued.

But his statement has drawn a lot of reactions from fans with some supporting him while others condemning. Check out some of the reactions from a section of fans;
