South Sudanese forward, Dani Lual has joined Kenyan Premier League side, Mathare United on a three-year deal ahead of 2019/20 Kenyan Premier League season that kicks off in eight days’ time.
Lual joins the Slum Boys at a time the club has lost some key players largely due to the team’s financial struggles. Cliff Nyakeya left for Egyptian side, Masr . Johnstone Omurwa has returned to Mathare United while Samuel Olwande decamped to Kariobangi Sharks. Veteran James Situma opted to hang his boots.

He is among 15 players invited 6 from Africa. 4 from South Africa πΏπ¦, 1 from Zimbabwe πΏπΌ and South Sudan πΈπΈ 1.

Early this year, he tried out with Valencia C in Spain but the trials were unsuccessful and he returned to South Sudan. He is a South Sudan U20 national team player.
The club has also signed forward, Daniel Okoth from Sony Sugar. The Gor Mahia youth team prodigy has previously played for Chemelil Sugar and Muhoroni Youth in the past.
