Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has warned young ladies against looking for materialistic things in their potential future husbands.

According to the vocal Tanga-tanga legislator, ladies choice of wealth and other materialistic things when courting their boyfriends has led to premature deaths among many young ladies in the country.

While speaking on Friday at the burial of Gloria Sangutei, the young lady who was murdered recently at Outspan, Eldoret, Sudi advised ladies to stop chasing men because of what they have and instead take time to learn more about them, see their capabilities as well as their potentials.

At the same time, Sudi also warned parents against being selective on who should marry their daughters, saying that they should instead be advising their daughters accordingly at the same time looking at an individual’s potential.

“Nowadays, people marry not because of love they have for each other but because of the materialistic things they see from their partners. Parents have also contributed to these behaviours. Instead of asking sensible questions concerning who the groom is, they start asking where he comes from, what he owns, his profession, that of his parents…” said Sudi

“Even if he has no money at the moment but has good future plans, please give him your daughter. He is capable” added Sudi.

Ms. Gloria Sangutei was found murdered and her body dumped at a roadside next to a maize plantation at outspan area in Eldoret a week ago.
