Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua has asked the Church leaders in the country to pray for Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko.
Rigathi Gachagua has slammed Mike Mbuvi Sonko following his recent endorsement calling for the legalization of bhang in the country.
Speaking during The late Ken Okoth’s funeration, Sonko urgedย legislators present, including Embakasi East MP Babu Owino, to push on with Bill that sought to legalize the use of Marijuana for medicinal use in the country.
Gachagua has since rubbished the calls to legalize bhang in the country. Instead he has asked the Church to pray for the leaders behind sponsoring this debate.

Gachagua is one among a few political leaders who are opposed to the legalization of marijuana in the country. Most leaders have backed Bhang legalization in the country including Nairobi Women Representative Esther Passaris, Babu Owino among so many others.
President Uhuru’s trip to kingston, Jamaica eliciting a lot of reaction with most Kenyans online drawing conclusions that the trip will make Uhuru legalize Cannabis Sativa.
Blows my mind why and how the legendary #BobMarley who smoked weed was destroyed by #cancer (at just 36yrs) when a growing body of knowledge acknowledges bhang / Cannabis as medicinal ?
