The transfer saga of Paris Saint-Germain wantaway forward Neymar Junior will come to an end by Thursday when the transfer summer comes to an end.
Even as the window closes, the Brazilian’s future remains at stake with the current stalemate in negotiation between Barcelona and PSG.
The 27-year-old had stated his desire to return to Barcelona, where he left two years ago. But as it stands, the French club is not ready to release him to the Blaugrana.
Late last month, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi told Barca president Josep Bartimeus that he is not ready to release Neymar this summer, prompting the Spanish giants to withdraw their quest for the star.

According to new reports, the Brazilian international is still determined to leave his ‘golden prison’ for Barca but his club prefers to negotiate with other clubs other than Barcelona.

This has put his future at limbo and it is slowly becoming imminent that the 27-year-old may endure another season at Le Parc des Princes.
Neymar joined PSG in August 2017 for a world record-breaking €222 million, making him the most expensive transfer of all time.
