Must all professional footballers have official Twitter accounts? If yes, how should they use it?
Fans engaged in an endless debate concerning Liverpool forward Sadio Mane, who has been reported to lack an official Twitter account. Unlike other players, Mane is not an active social media user and this has raised a lot of speculations.
The Senegalese international has an official Facebook, and Instagram accounts but fans appear to be obsessed with his Twitter account.
A section of fans made a joke of his inactiveness, stating that the Liverpool red-hot star does not know how to use social media while others defended him that he is busy on his charity projects and doesn’t need to tell everyone on social media;

If you were a celebrity you would understand why most of us don’t use social media. Life is more meaningful if you live it privately without having to give accountability on these streets. Work in silence.
