Deputy President William Ruto on Thursday moved his audience with a passionate tribute to the late Bomet Governor Joyce Laboso which he read during her funeral service at the All Saints Cathedral.

Ruto described the late Laboso as a great leader who was too large to be fitted in any camp as she traversed in all shades of the Kenyan politics.

However, the comment which clowned his tribute and caught most attention was when he explained how he would advise the former governor on the size of the skirt to put on.

Ruto claimed that Laboso was like a sister to him and whenever she put on a skirt that was not long enough, he would point that it was short so that she would change.

“Joyce became like my sister, whenever she put on a skirt that was not too long I would tell her – Joyce this skirt is short !”

Ruto’s comment has triggered a subject of discussion among social media users who went further to savagely troll the country’s second in command.

While a section noted that his comment was in bad taste on the basis that the governor was a married woman, others laughed it off while detecting the ‘ufisi’ in the DP.

Here is what Kenyans have to say on Ruto’s commend on Laboso’s short skirt;
