Deputy President William Ruto’s act of building a church inside his Karen home seems to have earned him political mileage as a good number of Kenyans flocked social to shower him with praises.
The DP who has established himself as a man after God’s own heart, took his commitment a notch higher on Wednesday when launched a National Prayer Altar church inside his residential home in Karen.
The ceremony which attracted individuals from different characters among them Reverend by Teresa Wairimu, Bishop Mark Kariuki, KFCB CEO Ezekiel Mutua, Citizen TV’s Victoria Rubadiri and Joe Ageyo marked a new
Racheal Ruto, Ruto’s wife, who took the news to social media to announce the launch posted;
“Today, my husband, the Deputy President and I were blessed to have been joined by Fathers of Faith and key leaders in various mountains of influence during the opening ceremony of our National Prayer Altar at the Official Residence of the Deputy President
She added;
“And “David built there an altar to the LORD and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. Thus the LORD was moved by prayer for the land, and the plague was held back from Israel” (2 Samuel 24:25).”
Her post formed a subject for discussion as a hundred of Kenyans camped on her page praising the DP’s heroneous act.
