William Kabogo, the predecessor of Kiambu Government has received tones of praise the past few hours. A video of him warning his voters against electing Governor Waititu for the County’s top post, has resurfaced with residents wishing they re-elected Kabogo into office.
Kabogo is seen spearheading that the governor’s post isn’t easy as some people might think, noting that some people referring to Waititu are only interested in making money and not to serve society.
“If you chase me, I will go home with my head high, I will not look back but I know this guy is only interested in making money,” Kabogo said.
In a past interview, Kabogo claimed that Kenya loses about Sh900 billion a year to corruption, monies that could be used to build cancer treatment centres and save Kenyans the cost of travelling abroad for treatment. This comes weeks after Kenyans lost prominent people to cancer.
As events unfold, what seemed like a huge loss on Kabogo’s part for the better part of 2017 now seems to have been a blessing in disguise. Keeping tabs with his life, the ex-governor has shown the world he is living his best life away from political turmoil.

I still do think Waititu was planted by somebody who knowingly knew he was overly incompetent, they wanted to loot the county. And they have done it, good thing they have been caught. It’s bigger than Waititu.
