To say that Arsenal fans are fed up with Shkodran Mustafi would be understating the relationship between the two. The German defender is highly disliked at the Emirates Stadium and the situation is on the verge of being toxic judging by recent events.
He was booed during Arsenal’s pre-season tour in the United States and the same occurred in Arsenal’s loss to Lyon in the Emirates Cup. Despite only playing for less than 30 minutes, it was Mustafi’s error that led to the French side’s winning goal.
However, AS Monaco are reported to be ready to put an end to this nightmare.
AS Monaco have enquired for Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi, according to L'Équipe. The outlet claims he is valued at €30m.

It is still not clear whether Monaco is ready to spend that much but just the mare fact that they are interested in the player had Arsenal fans in a frenzy.
I am more excited about mustafi's departure than Pepe's arrival😁😁#Arsenal pic.twitter.com/bkPkpA1mKN

The Gunners are on the verge of completing a sensational £72million deal to bring in Lille and Ivory Coast forward Nicholas Pepe. A deal with the club has already been agreed and the player will fly to London for his medical this week.
We will get more information on the deal when Unai Emery’s team play their next Pre Season friendly against Angers on Wednesday.
