Indeed their is no sacred cow in the purge against graft in the country. The era of the untouchable is almost coming to an end.

The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission of Kenya has just proved that the fight against corruption is only getting started by recovering two parcels of lands in Kisumu belonging to Kenya Railways irregularly acquired separately by Dr Oburu Oginga and Kendeep Ltd.

Dr Oburu Odinga the brother to Raila Odinga is believed to have acquired the lands without following the due procedures required and stipulated by the National Lands Commission of Kenya.

This brave act by EACC has really excited many Kenyans. It has renewed their hopes that the ‘devil of corruption’ can be cursed out.

However some other ‘netizens’ have lashed out on Oburu Odinga telling him offย  that he will have nothing to show as his legacy rather than numerous corruption cases unlike his brother Raila.

Moreover they want him prosecuted for fraudulently acquiring the land.

But of course nothing ends in Kenya without The Deputy President William Ruto being dragged into to it. Some have argued that if the land was recovered from one of DP Ruto’s friends then his lieutenants would be holding a press conference to defend ‘mtu wetu.’
