The arrest of Treasury CS Henry Rotich and his PS Kamau Thugge has continued to elicit mixed reactions among Kenyans and leaders around the political sphere.
And now the church seems not to have been left behind. On Friday, led by ACK Bishop Christopher Ruto, church leaders asked CS Rotich to name his accomplices in the Arror and Kimwarer Dam Scam as it would be unfair to for him to be prosecuted alone.
While condemning the act, Bishop Ruto argued that it is impossible for Rotich to have successfully looted the multi-billion alone
“If Rotich ate that money, let him mention his accomplices regardless of their status in society. No one can eat that amount of money alone and survive. Let corruption be fought in a fought from all front, in an orderly manner without causing anxiety.”
The top Treasury chiefs have been arrested over the Sh63 billion Arror and Kimwarer dams scandal, following approval of charges against them by the Director of Public Prosecutions Noordin Haji.
Those in custody include Treasury Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich, his Principal Secretary Kamau Thugge as well as the Chief Executive Officer of the National Environment ManagementAuthority (NEMA) Geoffrey Wahungu.
Bishop Ruto’s statement has since caused an uproar on social media with the majority of netizens questioning the Bishop’s understanding of the case as the DPP had already summoned his accomplices as others further asked him to leave politics and concentrate on the religious matters while a few commended him for his boldness.
The accomplices have been named not 1 or 2 but over 15 of them,or do you have specific you want named Bwana Bishop

Every one including church leaders know Rotich did not eat alone, kuna shadows involved

If shadows are involved and DCI is doing nothing about them then we can as well forget about prosecuting this Kimwarer and arror thing and continue with our life without talking about corruption.
