Blow for Arsenal as Premier League rivals enter race to sign key transfer target

Arsenal is in danger of losing out their top transfer target to fellow Premier League side Everton. The Gunners have made Wilfred Zaha a top priority this summer but Crystal Palace’s asking price for the winger has proved to be too much for Unai Emery and his team.

New reports from England now claim that Everton is set to hold talks with the Eagles over a possible deal to bring Zaha to Goodison Park.

The Toffees are believed to be willing to meet Palace’s valuation of the player which is set at 80million Euros. However, the Ivory Coast International is only willing to move to Arsenal who are his boyhood club and recently said he supported them since he was a child.

Zaha’s is currently on his holiday following his involvement in the Africa Cup Of Nations with the Ivory Coast. Arsenal will submit a final bid for the player this week and if Palace rejects it, the Gunners will move for Brazil Copa America star Everton Soares.
