Kenya is set to reap hugely in cycling after the sports ministry through the CS Amb. Amina Mohammed announced a partnership with Giro d’Italia [Tour of Italy] managers RCS.
Amina termed this a great chance for the country to take the sport to a new level by exposing the Kenyan cyclists to high standards and promoting tourism with a proposal to have the event held in Kenya in 2021.

This will also mark growth for the Kenya Cycling Federation being the sole body charged with the responsibility for the management of the sport of cycling in the Republic of Kenya.
According to its social media profile, the body’s vision is to see growth and success in the sport of cycling in Kenya with an objective of hosting and monitoring cycle races in all areas of the country. It also oversees an elite national team in each of the cycling disciplines, age groups and genders to be able to represent Kenya in other countries.
