Arsenal is on the verge of completing two new signings in the next few days. The Gunners have only added one player to their first-team squad, an 18-year old Gabriele Martinelli from Brazil side Ituano FC.
However, according to trusted BBC Sport Journalist David Ornstein, the London giants are close to completing a double swoop for French defender William Saliba and Spanish midfielder Dani Ceballos.
Saliba, in particular, was subject to a move to Arsenal’s rivals Tottenham Hotspurs but has instead opted to sign for the Gunners. He will, however, be loaned to Saint Etienne for the whole of the 2019/2020 season.
DaniCabeelos is expected to join on a season-long loan deal from Spanish giants Real Madrid. Marca had earlier reported that Unai Emery has been pushing hard for the midfielder, a star of Spain’s victorious Under-21 side at the recent European Championships and that Ceballos is very open to testing himself in England.

Unai Emery’s side is currently in the United Staes of America for pre-season. Arsenal has already played one match, a 3-0 win over the Colorado Rapids. Up next will be a tricky test against German Champions Bayern Munich on Thursday.
