Embattled Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju has fired back at Deputy President William Ruto’s camp, saying he is working for President Uhuru Kenyatta. Tuju has been accused of leaking Jubilee Party’s secrets to ODM leader Raila Odinga. Ruto took to social media on Sunday wondering how the SG of a ruling party would also be the chief strategist of the main opposition leader.

Haji, Kinoti in Dubai for Dams and Gold Scandal

The problem is that we devolved many functions, but we have a national government that is not willing to let resources to follow the devolved functions. They want to retain more resources in Nairobi. Counties require these monies not only to run those ministries but to carry out development work.

Former TV queen Esther Arunga is facing 25 years in prison after she pleaded guilty to being an accessory to murder on Monday. Arunga admitted that she lied to the court over circumstances that surrounded her son’s death in 2014. Her husband Quincy Timberlake is said to her murdered their child by hitting him with a blunt object.
