What do you define as cheating in relationship? Asking a cheating partner if they’re cheating on you is perhaps one of the most stupid things to do because they wouldn’t tell you the answer want to hear. So what do you do? You pay close attention to their day to day living and see what changes you observe in their lives and how they treat you.
It hurts so bad when you realize a person you thought would never take you through that hurting road, actually does. Cheating in either form physically or emotionally cannot be well received by the other partner, trust is broken and takes time to regain it. Anything can be cheating if it violates the communicated expectations of the relationship.
If one partner considers it cheating and another doesn’t, one of them either needs to change their frame, or they both should decide, no shame, they aren’t compatible in the relationship. Here are some behavioural traits of a cheating partner;
THEY STOP SHARING DEVICES
There’s a very good chance you both used to get unmonitored access to your mobile phones, PCs and stuff, but then, somewhere along the line, they just start to keep these things away from you. Some can even go the extra mile of adding encryption to their devices to keep you from accessing them. This to me, spells ‘CHEATING’.
THEY LIKE TO TAKE THEIR PHONE CALLS PRIVATELY
It doesn’t matter who they’re talking to, your partner has no reason to take phone calls in private unless they’re trying to have private conversations, and that could be because they are leading two lives. To me, it doesn’t matter if they were always like that or they just started to show the behaviour, I just know that it means they’re trying to hide something from you, and you should be worried about that.
THEY HATE IT WHEN YOU SHOW UP UNANNOUNCED
Who even does this? And who even believes they’re loved in a relationship where this happens? You are supposed to have unrestricted and unmonitored access to your partner’s residence. If they deny you that right, they don’t care enough or they could be cheating on you, and don’t want you to find out because they also want to keep you around.
THEY CAN’T STOP LYING
One sure way to know if your man or woman is cheating is to ask them about their whereabouts from time to time and keep track of what answers you get. Liars can hardly keep up with the act, and soon enough the truth shall be revealed.
YOU’RE INFECTED WITH AN STI
Unless you sleep around yourself, If you are diagnosed with a sexually transmitted infection or disease, your partner is the responsible one, and there’s no way that can happen unless they have been sleeping with all kinds of people.
