Sudi Accuses Kibicho & Matiang’i of Politicking as He Takes Up Their Roles

Kapsaret MP Oscar Sudi has embarked on a peace mission and efforts to restore peace among Pokot and Marakwet communities.

Sudi who has reignited war with the Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiangi and PS Karanja Kibicho claim that the two have not had time to do their jobs since they have been busy politicking.

Sudi says he has therefore decided to take their jobs and do it himself since efforts to reach out to them to intervene and restore calm has always proved futile.

“There are many people who have been given jobs but they do not know what they are supposed to do. There are those who have been tasked to provide security but they are busy engaging in politics and that is why I decided to step in myself,” he said.

He added; ” I have been looking for PS Kibicho for almost four months now. I have been calling him, sending text messages trying to share ideas on how we can solve this problem but he has been ignoring my efforts,” said Sudi.

The lawmaker said cases of learners being attacked by bandits were escalating and it was high time the government intervened.

“As leaders, we are determined to end banditry and other retrogressive activities and let communities work together as they seek to spur economic growth. I am happy that locals are excited and more than willing to embrace peace and brotherhood,”he added.

Sudi’s statement has come at a time when leaders affiliated Tanga Tanga which he is a leader has been accused of neglecting their duties by engaging in unnecessary politics and leaving their electorates without leadership.
