Merely days after the country lost Bob Collymore to cancer, we have lost yet another great leader. Prominent city lawyer Mr Karanja Kabage was pronounced dead on Friday 5th July on arrival at Nairobi Hospital after his car veered off Southern bypass, read the police statement.
Condolence messages have already started streaming in from Kenyans all over, and dignitaries as well.
President Uhuru Kenyatta sent his condolences to friends and family of the deceased, describing him as a resourceful person who was always willing and ready to offer legal aid to those who sought his help.
“It is painful to lose a great friend at a time like this. I pray that God will give the family, friends, and relatives comfort and fortitude at this trying moment,” the President said.

Just the other day, I boldly approached the Don himself, Karanja Kabage at Pride-Inn Shanzu.. introduced myself and had random chats with him over dinner. He was so outgoing, deep in wisdom n stature. Today, the cruel hands of death has robbed us of such a brain #RIPKaranjaKabage pic.twitter.com/ptcE6OzaQU

Karanja Kabage a corporate and legal giant. A great thinker and a Visionary who the people of Molo, Njoro and Nakuru failed to grant the opportunity to represent them. What a loss
