Manchester United pre-season fixtures

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer led-side, Manchester United are expected to begin their pre-season from next weekend with a couple of eye-catching fixtures that will include an old Premier league rival side.

The Red Devils will be looking forward to improving on their dreadful and poor run last season that forced them to finish at position six and locked them out of any possibility of playing in the Champions League behind, Arsenal Chelsea, Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester City who took home the Premier League trophy.

United’s pre-season fixtures are widely spread out a number of continents, visiting Asia, Europe and Australia so they will hope to not be fatigued going into some thrilling games against a couple of Italy’s top sides.

Solskjaer’s men including the new signings and returnee Axel Tuanzebe will first travel to Australia to play A-league winners Perth Glory on July 13.

After the games in Australia, the team with then prepare for four clashes in under two weeks against the likes of Italians giants, Inter Milan and Champions League finalists, Tottenham HotSpurs.

The matches are aimed at team bonding of the new players as well a to weigh out their capacity in preparation for the new season after a poor season ending.
