The Director of Criminal Investigation George Kinoti is under intense pressure to play the video and audio clip which the digital strategist Dennis Itumbi claimed that he had.
The video is the evidence of the Mt. Kenya Cabinet Secretaries during the La Mada Hotel where the alleged assassination plot on DP Ruto was hatched.

During the Court hearing Itumbi was barred from playing the audios and videos by the court. Senior Resident Magistrate Zainab Abdul rejected stating that the case was not at the stage where he could avail such evidence.
In an affidavit seen by @TheStarKenya, Dennis Itumbi told court that he has audio and video recording material that shows a meeting could have happened at the La Mada hotel which discussed the possibility of assassinating Ruto. #LamadaHotelConspiracy , #ResistAssassinationsKE pic.twitter.com/4NYuAm2PNy

However Dr Miguna Miguna who is based in Canada is now pushing DCI Kinoti to play the audios and videos on an open court session.
Miguna has gone ahead to blame Uhuru for the death of Prof George Saitoti who perished in a plane crush. He has also linked the Head of State to the mysterious death of Thuo and Nkaissery.
“The ICC did not acquit both Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto of mass murder, mass rape and forceful dislocation of civilian populations. Uhuru killed Saitoti, Thuo and Nkaissery. If there is nothing to hide, the DCI George Kinoti and DPP Noordin Kinoti must play Itumbi’s videos in open court,” he stated.

Itumbi was however denied bail despite stating that he will not interfere with witnesses.
In another twist the DCI is seeking 256 people who are believed to connected to the circulation of the mysterious letter.
The Tanga tanga WhatsApp group is under investigation and its members are expected to record statements with the police.
During the trial, Itumbi’s lawyers noted that he did not create the group and neither was he an administrator.
On the other side, Group Kieleweke is now asking the Deputy President William Ruto to publicly apologize to Kenyans for causing unnecessary tension.
