
On Friday, The royal media services left other media houses salivating after it dominated the Kuza awards taking home over 10 awards from Communications Authority.
Recently, Citizen TV stood out as the most admired by Kenyans.The royal media boss SK. Macharia was recognized with a lifetime achievement Award.

The Communications Authority appreciated SK Macharia for transforming the Kenyan Media Industry.

Roya media was recognized for many things among them its excellence in the industry, and its performing brands- Citizen Tv, Inooro FM, Citizen Radio.

The Kuza awards Director General Francis Wangusi praised Kuza awards stating that it was shaping Kenya into becoming information sharing Hub.

While Royam media went home with many awards other media houses took home one or two awards. This must have left one question to answer. What is it that we are not doing right.

However, Citizen Tv revealed that the journey to achieving a stable Royal media services was not easy stating that the founder- SK Macharia encountered endless challenges. Among the challenges were legal issues which almost saw the young media house closed down at one point.
However, SK rose above the challenges and here they are;
