Nyeri Town MP has condemned the chaos that erupted in his back yard after Agriculture CS Mwangi Kiunjuri was chased out of a meeting in Gatitu, Nyeri on Saturday after rowdy youth stormed the venue forcing the CS making a very hurried speech before leaving the scene immediately.
The CS had gone to the region to launch a water project when the goons stormed the venue and caused chaos.
Ngunjiri now claims that a politician who is seeking to become Deputy President William Ruto’s running mate in 2022 is behind the chaos.
The obviously agitated Kieleweke Leader went on warned that they were not going to allow anyone playing personal politics with the national government politics.
“We will not allow anyone to play personal politics with national government projects. Tafuta running mate ya Ruto na njia ingine,” he warned.

This is happening just a while after the Ainakboi MP William Chepkut accused Ngunjiri of inviting goons to disrupt the meeting that Ngunjiri was presiding over.
“Mp Ngunjiri invites CS Kiunjuri to his event. Then organise for him to be heckled. Brainless!” Chepkut retorted.

Before the launch, residents of the area had expressed their dislike for the project and posted some disparaging comments about the meeting.
The CS was on the podium when Wambugu arrived with rowdy boda boda riders who forced the speaker to pause and Kiunjuri to change the line-up of speakers altogether.
