Korea joins Sharks after ending Sony stint

Kenyan Premier League side, Kariobangi Sharks has announced that it has parted ways with assistant coach Collins Omondi on mutual consent.

The former Sony Sugar and Mathare United assistant coach joined Sharks in April 2018 as coach William Muluya’s assistant. He was part of the bench that won  Sharks the Sportpesa Shield and the Sportpesa Cup titles in 2018 and 2019 respectively.

Sharks,  in a statement has now announced the tactician who’s famously referred to as, Korea has parted ways with the club. They thanked and wished him the best for the future.

“The Club would like to announce that we have parted ways with our Assistant Coach Collins Omondi on mutual consent. We are grateful for the commitment, professionalism and passion that he displayed during his stay at the club and we wish him the best in his future endeavours,” read the statement.

Sharks have already made one signing ahead of 2019/20 Kenyan Premier League season. Kenya U20 striker Patrick Otieno has decamped to the side from Bungoma based Kenyan Premier League outfit, Nzoia Sugar. The club has also parted ways with attacker Henry Juma who is set to join Western Stima.

Meanwhile Kariobangi Sharks have resumed training ahead of their friendly match against English Premier league side, Everton scheduled for 7th July at Moi international Sports Center Kasarani.
