Buzeki Exposes 2017 ballot Rots as he Host CCM Delegates at His Eldoret farm

Uasin Gishu Businessman cum Politician Bundotich Zedekiah Buzeki alias Buzeki on Friday hosted a section of CCM party delegates from the South Rift at his Chego Farm in Ainabkoi Uasin Gishu County.

Buzeki who is the incoming Secretary-General for CCM party took the occasion to popularize his CCM party gospel in the region considered to be William Ruto’s Jubilee stronghold while at the same time exposing what led to his defeat in the 2017 Jubilee party nominations.

While explaining his move to join Mashinani party to the locals, Buzeki maintained that he had made a decision to use the party ahead of 2022 gubernatorial race in the county of Uasin Gishu because of according to him, that was where the community’s interests were going to be met.

He lashed at some of the Jubilee’s leaders in the region who were busy throwing jabs at him saying that he did a lot for them in the last two general elections funding and servicing their campaigns while still doing business in Mombasa.

Buzeki wondered why the leaders had turned against him when he stood by them at their times of need adding that despite building Mombasa’s economy, he never forgot his Uasin Gishu backyard. According to Buzeki, his 2017 governorship aspirations which he intended to use it build Uasin Gishu acted as a separating factor between him and his one time friends who ganged up against him because of political reasons.

He urged the residents to shun away from politicians who were out to joyride on their backs, making unnecessary noises without any tangible development records. He maintained that he was now mature and bold enough to face his competitors in 2022.

At the same time, Buzeki exposed what transpired in the 2017 Jubilee party nominations maintaining that there were no elections held rather a multiple vote theft and riggings,

“Do not be cheated. In 2017, there were no genuine party nominations held. A close friend of mine who was in the rival party’s camp during the nominations showed he a heap of marked ballot papers inside his car’s boot days after they failed to pay him for the services” alleged buzeki.

Buzeki said he forgave the friend and the two are currently working together in CCM. He also exposed that Deputy President William Ruto was initially against his Independent candidacy in 2017 but after long consultations together with the elders, Ruto partly agreed with the decision.

He called for unity accusing those who were busy dividing the residents in the county along their ethnic lines. He rubbished Tanga-tanga and Kieleweke groups terming the two as political fraud out to divide the nation.

While speaking in an interview at a local vernacular station, Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi pleaded with Buzeki to come back to Jubilee saying that the leaders in the region led by him had decided to back him in 2022 before he shifted to CCM.

He observed that Buzeki was not a bad fellow but accused a group of advisors surrounding him led by one Steve Kewa for misadvising Buzeki.
