Kakamega Homeboyz on the verge of completing 4 new signings

Kenya Premier League side Kakamega Homeboyz are on the verge of completing four new signings as preparations for the upcoming Kenya Premier League season gears up. Two midfielders and two wingers are expected to put pen to paper and link with Nicholas Muyoti’s side ahead of pre-season training.

3 of the players are from last season’s relegated side Vihiga United with one joining from Nzoia Sugar. Midfielder John Wonder from Vihiga will is close to signing for Homeboyz alongside midfield compatriot and teammate Stephen Wakanya. Wakanya has also featured for Kenya Premier League sides Chemelil Sugar, Nzoia Sugar and played for the Harambee Stars under Bob Williamson.

Christopher Masinza is the third player leaving Vihiga United for Kakamega Homeboyz. The winger is comfortable playing on both flanks. Kakamega Homeboyz attack’s will also be boosted by the arrival of Stephen Etyang who joins from Nzoia Sugar.

Kakamega Homeboyz finished in 7th position last season with 52 points led by Kenyan International striker Allan Wanga who was the second highest top scorer with 18 goals,  2 behind Ulinzi Stars Enosh Ochieng.
