Kenya’s Top Radio Presenter reveals that he will not be inviting anyone for his Graduation

Phelix Odiwuor ,the celebrity comedian popularly known as Jalang’o has revealed why he won’t send out any graduation invitations to anyone

in his Milele Breakfast Show last week, he said that inviting people to his graduation will be too costly for him.by so doing it will raise unnecessary hype that comes with graduation ceremonies.

He also insisted that he would only invite his co-presenter and boss in his Graduation.”Alex Mwakideu will be the only person I invite. He will join the rest after finishing our show, even though it will late,” said Jalango.

He acknowledged that it is always exciting to invite people to watch you graduate because it is a huge accomplishment.

To those graduating, he reminded them that graduation is both an incredibly challenging and rewarding time in a person’s life.

Having been out of school for years, Jalang’o seems not to be having an easy time but this will not slow him down.

In an earlier post,the comedian is seen cheering himself up as he wrote:

Graduation comes with a lot of expectations from relatives and the community at large.

Jalango’s day starts at 3.30 am every day, he has to be in office by 4.00 am for the preps for the show, they go on air for 4 hours from the studio he moves to his company-Arena Media to with his staff. From there he checks his diary for any gigs or events lined up for the day for which he makes preparations. He still has to go to school as well so This is a guy who is so exceptional.

The Youth should learn from Jalang’o that nothing comes on a silver platter, behind every success lies a series of struggles and challenges, and his hard work both at work and  school story should inspire our youths to rise and overcome all odds, stay focused, determined and achieve their dreams in life.
