AFCON2019: Senegal, Tanzania squads released

Senegal national team coach Alieu  Cisse and his rival of the night Emmanuel Amuneke have both released their squads for their first 2019 African Cup of Nations match that will be played at Air Defence Stadium in Cairo.

Aishi Manula will stand between the goal posts  for Tanzania and he will be covered by David Mwantika, Gadiel Michael Kevin, Patrick Yondani, Hassan Ramadhan. Feisal Salum Abdalla, Mudathir Yahya Abbas, Hamid Mao Mkami will operate in midfield while Simon Msuva, Mbwana Samatta and John Raphael Bocco will lead the attack.

 

Senegal will have Edouard Mendy in goal covered by Napoli’s most wanted defender, Kalidou Koulibaly, Moussa Wague, Salif Sane and Youssouf Sabaly.

Everton’s midfielder Idrissa Gana Gueye will captain the side in the absence of Sadio Mane who is out after picking two yellow cards during the qualification phase.

Also in the midfield are Papa N’diaye, Kreppin Diatta, Ismaila Sarr, while Balde Diao Keita, and  Mbaye Niang will lead the attack. .

Tanzania is appearing for the AFCON after a twenty years absence and will be hoping
