Dressed in white shirts, beige khaki pants and a navy blue coats, Harambee Stars were warmly received after landing in Cairo ahead of the 32nd edition of the African Cup of Nation.

The reception, that was organised by CAF and orchestrated by Kenya’s ambassador to Egypt Joff Otieno, guided the Kenyan contingent dressed by a renown French designer Emannuelle Khan, with song and dance.

From a training base in Paris, France where the average temperature was 23°C, Harambee Stars must quickly adapt to the 38°C degrees in Cairo.

To counter the punitive temperatures, CAF has instituted two water breaks in all the 52 matches to be played in the 24-team tournament. The first break will be after 30 minutes of play while the second is noted for the 75th minute.
