On the eve of the New Year, seemingly drunk Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria rose to the podium and boldly accused President Uhuru Kenyatta of sidelining Central Kenya in his development agenda.
“As we enter 2019, you (voters) must think … our responsibility is not just to vote and after voting, we (the government that we form) take development to other regions. That kind of nonsense must stop,” he said at Thika Stadium on New Year.
His sentiments made the angry President Kenyatta to call him and his over-stepping troupe “Washenzi.”

But wait, that is not the core reason as to why Kieleweke which is opposed to the Deputy President William Ruto was formed.
Nyeri Town MP, Ngunjiri Wambugu, has revealed that Hon Moses Kuria is the sole reason as to why he lobbied other legislators to form Team Kieleweke.
Ngunjiri has claimed that Moses Kuria was moving all over the Rift Valley Region bragging that he has all the Kikuyu votes in his pocket and that he is going to bank them in the ballot. He claimed that he tried to stop Kuria but in vain.
At that time, Kuria was drumming support for Ruto. Team Kieleweke was therefore founded to support President Kenyatta.

Moses Kuria has denied these claims, saying that they are not true.
The two lawmakers were speaking during an interview on a local TV Station.
