But One of Jubilee Senators has revealed how President Uhuru Kenyatta over-stepped on the visitors’ expectations to advance his own political agenda.
Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruyoit has stated that President Uhuru Kenyatta was only an invited guest in the Sunday Akorino annual meeting which saw him lecture the political class in his native Kikuyu.
Cheruyoit has revealed that DP William Ruto is the one who planned with the leadership of Akorino Church to have the meeting held in Kasarani.
From the senator’s statement, he expected President Uhuru Kenyatta to maintain his cool but instead, he overstepped on his Deputy.
“This was his (the DP) meeting, he planned it with the leadership of the Akorino church,” stated Aaron Cheruyoit.
Cheruyoit has also castigated President Uhuru Kenyatta for portraying poor leadership skills following his outburst stating that it was unwarranted.
“Losing your cool as a leader is not an option and I don’t encourage any of my colleagues to do it,” he said.
The Kericho senator has also revealed that DP Ruto respects President Uhuru so much more than any other Deputy.
“I don’t think there is any other deputy who respects his boss like the DP respects the President,” claimed Aaron Cheruyoit.
