Posta Rangers nailed down their counterpart Nairobi Stima before home fans in the first leg of the promotion/relegation playoff at Karuturi grounds.

Rangers thrashed Nairobi Stima 2-1, setting one foot to the Kenya Premier League but they will have to wait for their return match at Machakos Stadium before they can celebrate.

Rangers were the ones who opened the scoring after they netted their goal in the fifth minute through a superb strike from Jockins Atudo.

Nairobi Stima, however, leveled the score in the added time of the first half through their talisman, who scooped the 2018/2019 NSL golden boot after netting 24 goals, Dennis Oalo.

Things became serious in the second half when Posta Rangers came back with their full force, taking control of the second half and scoring their second and winning goal in the 58th minute through Francis Nambute.
