This has been a cold week indeed, but we’re glad you have stayed with us through it all. The top three stories will warm your Friday after yesterday’s Budget reading. For starters, teaching jobs are soon going to be up for grabs as Moneyman CS Henry Rotich granted TSC cash to hire teachers. Nice move Rotich!

Then things are brewing quickly with Nandi’s governor gone rogue. The media captured images of Governor Sang uprooting tea bushes at Kibwari Tea Estate with a power saw, in the name of reclaiming grabbed land. But many would read politics in Sang’s move as the tea estate is said to be owned by one his political rivals.

Finally, coach Migne Sebastian is optimistic that for Harambee Stars, the sky is the limit. The team has been in Paris for training, and Kenyans waiting for results.
