Father of a 25-year-old JKUAT student Brian Bera, the man who attempted to break into Statehouse with a knife, with an intention of killing President Uhuru Kenyatta, has opened to some of the mischievous activities of his son.
Speaking during an interview on a local TV, David Bera claimed that his son has tried several things including attempting suicide.
““The boy has been very sick, mentally…the boy would disappear from home for a while and later be informed that he wanted to drone himself in a river. Other times he would be found in Mt. Elgon caves so that he would disappear in there.”
There are other times where he even wanted to climb Mt. Kenya illegally.

Brian had earlier posted on his Facebook account where he threatened to kill “the big thief and his sympathizers” claiming that God had sent him to execute judgment on “every thief and every partner of a thief”.
On his Facebook account before the encounter he wrote;
“To: Thief President Uhuru Kenyatta and his partners
Tomorrow I attack State House.
God has sent me to execute judgment on every thief and every partner of a thief.
{From Prince Of Ethiopia, formerly called Brian Kibet Bera} ”
