AU High Envoy for Infrastructure Raila Odinga has lately cut the figure of a certified International Traveller as he continues to visit different parts of the world to discharge his duties as Africa’s head of Infrastructure or in some instances to share his wisdom with the rest of the world.
Raila is currently in Russia for the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) which kicked off on Thursday in Russia under the theme “Creating a Sustainable Development Agenda” and with the participation of representatives of 140 countries.
Last week Raila was in London for the Chatham House Conference where he gave a lecture on the late Kofi Annan’s legacy.
Raila as well talked on the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) that will unite Kenyans and heal the nation from past injustices.
Time magazine once described Annan as “a brass band of hope, ideas and energy.” One of his key contributions to global agenda was to refine a policy mandating states to step in wherever and whenever human lives are threatened by hate, disease or poverty. #OurSharedHumanity 1/2 pic.twitter.com/ricXzItjjR
