Two tanker trucks have collided on early Friday morning near Marula Naivasha, along the busy Nairobi -Nakuru highway prompting gallons of fuel to spill out onto the roadway and erupting into a fireball.
It is still unclear how the accident occurred as some speculated that one truck may have rear-ended the other.

The tankers which are said to have been transporting fuel released a plume of smoke about three kilometres long and a kilometre wide.

Police are conducting evacuations near the surrounding area. It is still unclear on the casualties.
