The senator in an earlier interview with a local media house had stated that he is married to Sophia and that they are blessed with one beautiful daughter.

“It’s too late for those who have been drooling over me. I am taken and have been dating Sophie for three years now. She is all I wanted in a woman, in fact, I cannot choose another woman over her.

I know that being a public figure has its challenges like dealing with stalkers, but they can try another senator since I am not in the market” Said Anwar who is of Maasai and Swahili extraction.

During the 2017 hotly contested elections, Loitiptip defeated the famous coast politician 70-year-old Abu Chiaba during nominations, before clinching the Senate seat in the August 8 General Election.
