Lamu senator Annwar Loitipti is fighting for his life and is being admitted at Aghan Hospital ICU after being attacked by guards at a club in Garden Estate on Saturday night.
Already security agencies have arrested one guard who was involved in the erroneous act.

Its reported that the senator was in the company of Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko’s daughter, Agnes Saumu Mbuvi when he was attacked.
Saumu said before the attack the two were watching the UEFA Champions League finals at Memphis Lounge within the neighborhood of USIU in Kasarani.
She said when the match ended, she went to the washrooms on their way out where she was grabbed by an unknown man.
Ms. Mbuvi was assaulted by a “short, brown man” as she entered a toilet.
According to a police statement, the senator was allegedly attacked by a group of nine unknown men who came after him at the parking lot accompanied by a brown man.
The attackers its mentioned had clubs that they used to hit both the Senator and Governor Sonko’s daughter Saumu Mbuvi before running off.
Saumu is also nursing injuries to her right arm which she sustained while shielding Anwar from blows to the head that had already left him unconscious.

In an ongoing battle embattling the senator, Loitiptip has defended himself against accusation that he and his associates seriously battered a man on a weekend.
A video of the badly injured David Waweru went viral on social media. In the video, Waweru accuses the senator and his brother only identified as Mody and two of the senator’s lackeys of attacking him.
Waweru, a local artist known by many as King David said that he was accosted by two known associates of the senator whom he only identified as Boi and Remmy.
