David de Gea has been the subject of United fans’ anger lately as he seems not to be invested in the club in the long-term.
Indeed, the Spaniard has had an abysmal season that has seen him let through some of the most embarrassing goals in his tenure at Manchester United.
And now, the rabbit hole in regards to De Gea’s speculation sinks deeper as United fans were left skeptical regarding his allegiance.
In fact, the no.1 took to Twitter to post pictures of himself with fellow national teammate, Sergio Ramos.
What’s even worse is the caption. The photos are boldly followed by the words, Did you miss me?
Indeed, the post sent United fans into a maddened frenzy as speculations of De Gea’s departure become rife.
For starters, it is believed that De Gea could be moving to PSG as the main replacement for aged goalkeeper, Gianluigi Buffon.
Additionally, many United fans have pleaded with De Gea to sign his contract and continue his stay at United to no avail.
According to reports, De Gea was adamant that he would like a pay-rise to likes of fellow teammate Alexis Sanchez.
But what really has United fans boiling is the fact that De Gea has been linked to Real Madrid.
Indeed, many fans are questioning his real intentions with the caption: what exactly did he mean by the term ‘did you miss me?’
Despite the fact that Los Blancos bought Thibaut Courtois for a hefty fee last summer, they have always had an interest in the Spaniard.
Nevertheless, United fans can take a breather for now as De Gea is focusing on Euro 2020 qualifiers with Spain as they take on the Faroe Islands and Sweden next week.
