The viral audio of a phone conversation between Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko and Women Rep Esther Passaris continues to elicit mixed reactions among Kenyans.
While a section of Kenyans have lauded Sonko for exposing Passaris for the crook she is, some Kenyans have faulted Sonko for exposing Passaris in the manner he did.
One such Kenyan is Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria who has asked Nairobians not to complain over the manner in which Sonko does his things since they are the ones who voted him in as Governor.
“Nairobi people overwhelmingly voted for Mike Sonko and they got a package. People should not complain… that is what they deserve and should live with it,” Said Kuria.

Sonko’s war of words with Passaris took an ugly twist yesternight when the City Chief leaked a conversation between them.
In the convo, Passaris was begging Sonko for some financial help of around half a million Shillings, money she was allegedly going to present during a meeting with Opposition Chief Raila Odinga.
Passaris also leaked vital information about Sonko’s then Political rival Evans Kidero and even promised to Love Sonko for the help he had granted her.
Sonko turned down her “Love” offer only to later use their conversation to paint an ugly picture of her to the public.
It is believed that the Madaraka Day Spat between Sonko and Passaris made the Governor take drastic measures to silence Passaris who was already getting overwhelming support from different quarters including the Federation of Women Lawyers FIDA.
