A lot has been said about William Ruto’s church donations. That he is taking looted public money to the church. In fact, churches have been urged not to receive money from him. One of Ruto’s biggest critics is his nemesis Raila Odinga.
What Raila doesn’t tell you is how much he has ever contributed to the church. I don’t remember ever seeing Raila doing anything for society.
On the contrary, the viral leaked phone conversation between Mike Sonko and Esther Passaris has just exposed the rotten unknown side of Baba.
In the audio, Esther is heard telling Sonko that every ODM aspirant had been asked to go see Raila with at least sh500k. To make her look more serious, Passaris wanted to take a million shillings with her. She manages to get half million from Sonko to take to Baba.
But what does it say about Baba? Was he using ODM candidates to make money? Is ODM a money-making machine? Pastor James Nganga has been in the news for insulting his bishops who are disrespecting him after using his church to make money.
There is no big difference between Raila and Nganga. Whereas Nganga demands respect from his bishops (Nikihoa mnashtuka) Raila demands wants money from all ODM politicians.
Blogger Robert Alai has always accused Raila of not being interested in the Presidency but using the ODM Party as a money minting business.

ODM’s reputation got a huge blow during the 2017 Party Nominations where individuals with heavy pockets were awarded the Party tickets despite not winning the nominations. All the three Luo-Nyanza governors; Cyprian Awiti, Anyang Nyong’o and Ranguma forced their way into power using the ODM Party. Their elections have been unsuccessfully challenged in court. You just wonder how much they paid to get the Party tickets.
Agumba should also stop tasking ODM legislators, governors and senators with carrying sacks of money to his Capital Hill Offices. It is retrogressive and archaic. The perennial loser has ensured all ODM elected ‘leaders’ remain indebted to him throughout their term in office

Self Proclaimed NRM General Miguna Miguna claimed recently that Raila received 50 billion before the famous hand-cheque with his brother Uhuru Kenyatta. We know that Miguna is sensational but a man who wants one million from ODM members can hardly turn down billions of money.
Raila should be the last person to lecture Kenyans about corruption. There is no difference between Ruto, the man who is alleged to steal and take part of his loot to the church, and Raila, the man who demands for millions from politicians. All this is defined as corruption. Maybe God will bless Ruto for giving out part of what he steals, we don’t know where Baba takes all these money.
