Barcelona have of late become a news hub with interesting stories popping up on a daily basis. But they can be understood since it is unacceptable to grab a piece of meat from the mouth of a lion.
Barcelona lost two good chances to lift the triple this season; losing to Liverpool 4-0 in the Champions League semi-finals at Anfield and to Valencia 2-1 in the Copa Del Rey.
The void was spotted and Barcelona have been on the run to sign players to fill those weak points.
Among the players they spotted is Antoine Griezmann, who is currently playing for Atletico Madrid but had announced his intention to leave the club this summer. Clearly, the French sensational wanted a move to the Spanish club.
And Barca have been heavily linked with the player and it was reported that Griezmann’a agent had already met with Barca’s president Josep Bartomeu.
However, there has been an impediment towards the Frenchman’s move to Nou Camp. According to reports, some Barca players including Messi have opposed the star’s move to join them following his refusal to sign for Barca last season with reasons best known to him.
But those players’ reaction seems to have angered Griezmann and he seems to have changed his mind towards his future club.
When asked about his future club after the match between France and Bolivia, Griezmann added more mystery by answering ‘I don’t know.’

So this leaves many guessing the team the French international will be heading to in the next summer.
Is he too grieved to join Barcelona? Time will surely tell.
