She grew up in a village
If you thought that Zari was born in a flashy wealthy home, you are wrong. In fact, she comes from a humble village, in Uganda known as Jinja where she grew up until she cleared her O level education.
Her parents divorced when she was still young. She attended Juinja girls high school and late moved to Kampala after completing her form 4.
She performed Karaoke
After form four, Zari moved to Kampala where she performed Karaoke in hang-outs.
She has a diploma in Cosmetology
While singing in Karaoke, Zari got a chance to move to London where she acquired a diploma in cosmetology. no wonder her make up is always on point. Also, she borrowed the accent from London.

Zari has ever been a Diva since she was young; In 2009 she won the Diva Awards, Award of the year in the Diaspora category.
She is of mixed heritage
Zari is of mixed heritage; her maternal grandfather is of Indian descent. Her maternal grandmother is Ugandan. Her paternal grandmother hails from Burundi.grandfather on her dads’ side is Somalian and her grandmother a Burundian.
She has been married twice and planning for her 3rd wedding
Zari The Boss Lady first has been married twice. Her first husband was Ivan Ssemwanga who passed on in May 2017 while receiving treatment at Steve Biko Hospital in Pretoria, South Africa. The deceased was the father of Zari Hassan’s three boys.
She was later married to Diamond Platnumz, a Tanzanian bongo flava recording artist and dancer. They have two kids together, Princess Tiffah Dangote, born on August 6, 2015, and Prince Nillan Dangote, born on December 6th, 2016.

Diamond and Zari Hassan marriage almost ended when pressure, emanating from family members, forced the singer to perform DNA to determine whether Tiffah is Diamond’s biological daughter-the result turned positive.
