After the successful performance at the choma na Ngoma concert, Nigerian star Patoranking officially launched his new album in Nairobi Kenya.
This comes after a grand listening party which was held in Nigeria last month after the album release.
Some of the celebrities who turned up for the launch event in Nairobi include Fena Gitu, Kagwe Mungai, Nyashinski, Taliya Oyando,Chipukeezy, Bien of Sauti Sol among others.
The event went down at Kiza Lounge on Sunday 1st June which was a day after the mega concert.
On why he decided to have another listening party in Kenya, Patoranking says that being an African artiste and he feels that he has to touch base everywhere.
Wilmer also features a Kenyan artise Nyashinski and this is probably another reason for Patoranking’s connection with the Kenyan space.
Patoranking also worked on a collabo with Sauti Sol years ago and he revealed that he would not mind working with other Kenyan musicians.
Patoranking during a recent interview hinted on his intention to throw another listening party in Tanzania.
Patoranking says he was working on his album before his daughter was born and after she was born, everything changed including his music and vybe.
Wilmer comes years after his debut album ‘God Over Everything’ which had 16 tracks and was released in 2016.
Patoranking rose to fame after his hit song ‘Girlie O’ which he later did a remix on with Tiwa Savage.
Other of his songs that he is popularly known for include; No Kissing, Confirm, Love you die among others.
The Nigerian artiste thanked everyone who graced his event saying that it was indeed special and meant everything to him that people turned up to support him.
