Uasin Gishu business mogul and former gubernatorial aspirant Bundotich Zedekiah Kiprop alias Buzeki has finally joined Deputy President William Ruto’s weekly dishing out of money (Harambee) in churches meant to aid in church activities.
The famous businessman who recently defected to CCM was on Sunday at P.C.E.A Ayub-Kinyua Memorial Church, Kipkenyo Ward in Uasin Gishu for a morning church service where he presided over fundraising in support of the P.C.E.A Woman’s Guild that aims to bring together women and girls for fellowship, worship and service.
Ruto has in the past insisted that his faith comes first before ‘politician’ titles. Leaders led by Raila Odinga, Musalia Mudavadi and Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka had cautioned clerics against accepting money suspected to be proceeds of corruption.
Since Sunday school we learned to kneel before and worship GOD that's the ONLY reason we stand before men. We will continue to worship JEHOVAH with our hearts and substance. We are unashamed of our God & unapologetic of our faith. We are Christians first other title after.

Buzeki who fell out with Deputy President William Ruto last month is strategizing himself for 2022 battle with a jubilee candidate. Buzeki will be vying for the county’s top seat using Isaac Ruto’s Chama Cha Mashinani party.
The move to follow Ruto’s generosity of contributing in churches is viewed as a strategy to lay the ground for his 2022 ambitions especially among the second largest community in Uasin Gishu the Kikuyu community who supported him to the last man in 2027.
Joined congregants of P.C.E.A Ayub-Kinyua Memorial Church, Kipkenyo Ward, Soy Constituency for a morning church service and later presided over a fundraising in support of the P.C.E.A Woman's Guild that aims to bring together women and girls for fellowship, worship and service. pic.twitter.com/hXJlooVZH7

Buzeki who has been termed as the frontrunner in 2022 Uasin Gishu’s gubernatorial race ditched Deputy President William Ruto’s political camp citing dictatorship and presence of graft cartels in the ruling party.
Experts warn that Buzeki will have a rough time in convincing the residents to support his gubernatorial bid after joining William Ruto’s rival party.
They opine that Buzeki will easily lose in Uasin Gishu gubernatorial race unless Isaac Ruto will agree to work with his nemesis and support his presidential bid especially when Ruto’s bid is facing strong opposition from the popular ‘Kieleweke’ faction.
But Ainabkoi MP William Chepkut has rubbished these claims saying that Buzeki does not need to be in Tanga Tanga team for him to be the governor Uasin Gishu County.
“He stands by his own name. He is a businessman and has supported and touched the lives of many,” the MP said. Chepkut who was elected on an independent ticket after defeating former MP Samuel Chepkong’s has been on the forefront rooting for Buzeki’s governorship in the county.
