Tanzanian superstar Rayvanny is set to perform at the opening ceremony of Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Rayvanny had a special appearance in the parliament and was given a standing ovation by the minister who congratulated him by standing firm with Tanzania’s football team.
Rayvanny has come from nothing to something since he began his musical journey and he is at the top now with government recognition.
Celebrities have always played an important role in the lives of the youths and Rayvanny was celebrated for being part and parcel of Taifa Stars, which will be participating in Afcon U-17.
Tanzania will join the Afcon under seventeen this year and Rayvanny will be among the artists performing on the opening ceremony to be held in Tanzania.
Rayvanny took to his Instagram page and thanked the minister for the opportunity and also the adamant Basata who at some point banned his music.
“Nifuraha kwetu pale Tunapoona serikali yetu Inatushika mkono katika sanaa yetu na kuhakikisha tunasogea mbele zaidi kuliwakilisha taifa letu, (It is our happinness when we see our government lending us a hand and making sure we move ahead in representing our country)”
