Exiled firebrand Lawyer Dr Miguna Miguna has revealed why he commissioned NASA leader Raila Odinga’s swearing-in ceremony despite voting for President Uhuru Kenyatta in the past 2017 general elections.
Speaking during an interview with Jeff Koinange on Citizen TV’s JKLIVE on Wednesday night, Miguna said that he was not doing the mockery swearing-in at Uhuru park out of spite, but for electoral justice.

Miguna says he saw how the elections were conducted and knew that Raila had won.
He says that should anyone challenge him, let them open the IEBC servers and audit the election results.

He further asked those who win elections not to be too ready to surrender to the person who has not won just because he has guns or he has more money.
“If you are right and if you win an election you should never surrender to the person who has not won just because he has guns or he has more money,” said Miguna Miguna.

Speaking on his deportation, Miguna said he was a threat directly to both President Kenyatta and Raila Odinga. He said he was tortured in a manner that is indescribable.

He further cited that Kenya is not yet liberated. He says the country only got the flag and a national anthem, ornaments but real independence is not there.
“Kenya is not liberated; Kenya got a flag and a national anthem, ornaments but real independence is not there. Mine was an army of freedom fighters; we fight using words, you do not have to use guns,” he said.
