Barcelona Plans to Sign These Two Strikers But Holds Something Against Them

Sometimes one has to go through a painful moment to change. You can never know the other side of life when everything is cosy.

This is a life’s teaching that applies across all board including the football world. Barcelona had a fine start in the season 2018-19 before things turned around towards the end.

However, they managed to clinch the La Liga title with two matches at hand and for the second consecutive time. That was an achievement!

Nonetheless, the Blaugrana were dreaming of winning a treble this season, a dream that painfully failed to come true.

Liverpool bundled them out of the Champions League competition in the semi-final after a miraculous come back from 3-0 loss at Nou Camp to a 4-0 victory at Anfield. It was painful indeed!

While they were still dreaming of bagging a double after losing the Champions League, Valencia failed to give them comfort after hammering them 2-1, denying them the Copa Del Rey Cup.

For that reason, Barca camp vowed to make changes in their squad this summer after identifying their weak points during the said competitions.

Among the positions Barca have been looking forward to making changes include the striking force. Barca realised that Messi went through a hard time during their campaign against Liverpool as no other striker was there to help Messi.

Due to that, the Blaugrana have identified two strikers who they deem can be good enough to help Messi; Antoine Griezmann and Neymar Junior. But there are few things that have still kept them from signing the two sensational players.

Barca remembers how painful it was when the Brazilian striker, Neymar snubbed and left the club. The Nou Camp side believed in Neymar since he completed the lethal trio alongside Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi.

However, the Brazilian denounced and humiliated the club after his transfer to Paris Saint-Germain in August 2017.

Griezmann, on the other side, embarrassed the Spanish side last season after he suddenly refused to join them with reasons best known to him.

Despite that, Barcelona needs a striker to help fill the void as they have lost faith in Suarez. This means that Barcelona is currently in a dilemma situation on whether or not to sign the two strikers or not.

Do you think Barcelona should sign the two players or not?
